SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Experience:
1) Reviews all test plans, reports, and official correspondence for projects originating within the department to ensure the application of systems engineering principles, the efficient use of test resources, completion of required technical tasks, technical accuracy, and adherence to established policies; 2) Providing technical direction and guidance for the planning, designing, directing, coordinating, conducting, and reporting of all Testing & Evaluation work assigned; 3) Providing mastery of advanced concepts, principles, and practices of propulsion and/or mechanical subsystems, sufficient to serve as a technical authority and expert advisor on those aspects of tactical aircraft Testing & Evaluation; 4) Providing technical guidance on theory and methods of weapon system acquisition and support requirements including complex problem solving and reduction and analysis of test data.
