ELECTRONICS ENGINEER
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing Electronics Engineering work equivalent to the DP-04 STRL Pay Band or equivalent GS-Grade Level (GS-12/13) in the Federal Service. Examples of specialized experience includes:
(1) Applying advanced working knowledge to provide engineering and technical support in the operation and maintenance of electronic warfare and electronic combat simulation and stimulation equipment, aircraft systems and sensors; (2) Demonstrated job experience with radar (threat and friendly) waveform generation, antennas and radio frequency (RF) cables and RF measurement equipment; (3) Utilizing expansive knowledge of a variety of military radars and their capabilities and functionality to be applied to aircraft simulations; (4) Applying Electronic Warfare (EW)/Radar engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test and evaluate aircraft weapon systems; and (5) Providing technical leadership to internal contacts (e.g. IPT) and external contacts (e.g. customers, contractors, and other program stakeholders) in a frontier area, which influences major projects, proposals, and the direction of major work.
