CONTRACT SPECIALIST

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-03 (GS-12/13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Contract Specialist. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following:
1) Scheduling, processing, administering, and reporting all procurement actions that are planned to be executed by the team; 2) Leading teams in planning, preparing, and executing assigned contract actions; 3) Negotiating contract price, terms/conditions, administration, and ultimately the award of hardware sole source major weapons systems contracts; 4) Planning, advertising, negotiating, and awarding procurements; and 5) Guiding and leading individuals and teams in large major weapons system procurements with a thorough understanding of large contracts, contracting policy, and regulations. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
