GENERAL ENGINEER
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay ban DP-04 d in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) providing engineering support and/or technical leadership to weapon system programs/projects; 2) interfacing with Program and technical leadership to resolve issues/problems; 3) securing appropriate resources necessary to execute assigned programs/projects; and 4) applying technical acumen & expertise to solve problems and execute assigned programs.Examples of Specialized
Experience:
1) Assessing the latest technology to incorporate into assigned aircraft weapons systems; 2) Providing technical advice and guidance regarding systems engineering issues; 3) Applying knowledge of system design, performance, and mission effectiveness to ensure operational requirements are met; 4) Identifying complex system issues and recommending solutions; and 5) Formulating engineering design concepts and performance requirements for the assigned system.
