This position supports tasks assigned by the Naval Air Warfare Center, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test and Evaluation (T&E) Branch (AIR in support of the Naval Aircraft E3 T&E for adverse Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) at Patuxent River, MD. Successful candidate will directly support the Strike Aircraft, Rotary Wing Aircraft, and Force Warfare Aircraft support teams as the EMC Laboratory Equipment custodian. Day and, at times, night shift work coverage will be required. Some travel may be required.
+ Maintenance, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting the EMC Branch test equipment and components in support of EMC T&E operations
+ Receives deliveries or equipment; entering bar codes, functioning as Equipment Lab attendant for equipment check-out and return
+ Miscellaneous physical tasks in support of aircraft EMC T&E
+ Movement and/or shipping of test equipment
+ General facility cleanup
+ Maintaining Lab organization and calibration logs
A High School diploma or GED, and vocational training commensurate with the functional description. Successful completion of at least 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of course studies at an accredited college or university in an engineering or scientific field is a plus. At least six (6) months general experience performing the duties of the labor category as described in the functional description.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
