Senior Technology Consultant with a Secret Clearance
PSI Pax is currently recruiting for a Senior Technology Consultant with a Secret Clearance to support our government customer in Patuxent River, MD.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve any incidents or outages causing a loss of server or service monitoring
This position provides HBSS and Symantec specific technical support that contributes to the Server, Problem, Change, Configuration and Release Management Processes
Team provides administration of all HBSS and Symantec suites of products
Responsible for the creation and maintaining of McAfee E-Policy Orchestrator Servers and the associated services it provides
Will assist in module deployments as directed by the government
Must be thorough in the reviewing of all process documentation related to the setup, configuration, management, monitoring, performance and troubleshooting of HBSS and Symantec products
Work closely with vendors in order to maintain services or to troubleshoot issues
Maintain and install software on both Server and Workstations
Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis
Log Analysis and Diagnosis
Coordinating with various server functional and application owners
Coordinating with Engineers and Project Managers
Required Qualifications:
Secret Clearance
CompTIA Security+ (CE) Certification or higher
Understanding of Basic Network Troubleshooting
Remote Troubleshooting Abilities
Ability to manage projects and prioritize duties
Ability to document processes and procedures
Ability to manage and update existing documents
Able to follow development documentation and instructions
Must possess exceptional problem solving skills
Solid understanding of HBSS module deployments
Working knowledge of Host Intrusion Prevention
Working knowledge of Symantec SCSP, SDCS,SEP and SMSMSE
Working Knowledge of Tanium, HBSS, experience in Server management of Tanium, HBSS, SEP, ACAS and Fortify
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent or higher
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
