Act as the AIR-4.0 authority to the project manager for the establishment of weight requirements and the execution of the weight control program to meet those requirements.
Evaluate proposed design changes to determine weight and balance the impact to complete tasks.
Approve flight clearances from a mass properties perspective to complete assignments.
Establish contractual mass properties guarantees, weighing schedules and mass properties data requirements to help with weight and balance control efforts.

and 6) Developing Action Plans, monitoring execution of task elements to completion, and providing appropriate reports to senior program and competency officials.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires additional education, training and experience.
