What You'll Be Doing:
Our client is actively seeking a motivated, energetic, innovator, to fill role as a Software/System Engineer. This is a very challenging position to take enterprise development to the next level within the Department of Defense (DoD) and requires the right individual to exude all the right stuff that you would expect to see in a self-starter. The right candidate must be self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks, be an out-of-the-box thinker, be creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex and often time-critical problems, and be a team-player with the ability to work within a highly collaborative environment.
The selected candidate will be a member of a Systems Engineering Team as part of an Agile Scrum Software development project for the production of a new ASW Air Platform computing architecture for the U.S. Navy
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
A qualified candidate will possess the right mix of the following minimum and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
- Three to ten (3-10) years of experience in Systems Engineering, preferably with Software Systems that include Use Case Analysis, Requirements definition and refinement.
- Experienced with Software Systems Architecture and Design
- Experience with Real Time and time sensitive application development.
- Experience with Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) and Data Centric Architectures is a plus.
- Development within a Service Oriented Architecture or Service Based Infrastructure
- Experience with software development life cycle management
- Experience with SOA technologies (ESBs and Middleware Architectures, Web Services development, Software Systems Security)
- Experience in Java programming, to include J2EE and Middleware messaging. (DDS, AMQP, JMS)
- Experience with automated testing techniques and technologies
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding in DoD Information Assurance (IA), Quality Assurance (QA), Configuration Management (CM) standards and policies.
