This full time position supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division located at the China Lake, California . This position pays $22.92 per hour plus company benefits. The incumbent of this position works on various types of electronic equipment and related devices by performing one or a combination of the following: installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, and testing. This work requires practical application of technical knowledge of electronics, ability to determine malfunctions, and skill to put equipment in required operating condition.
_General Functions/Skills Required/Experience:_ Fabricates, maintains, and tests telemetry systems andcomponents. Use measuring, diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications.
Fabricates, and assembles electronic components following predetermined methods and criteria.
Adjusts, repairs, and modifies system, working from schematics, sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
Repairs and/or replaces malfunctioning units as directed.
Sets up and operates standard electronic testing equipment.
Uses hand power tools and hand tools and simple machine power tools to fabricate electronic hardware.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the test instrumentation field.
Require at least 2 years of experience performing electronics maintenance functions.
_Education Required:_
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of technical or trade school (desired).
_Clearance Requirement:_ Must be a US Citizen and hold a Secret Clearance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
