adata science); and software engineeringOur mission is to help enterprise leaders make complex, fully informed decisions and save money in the processSPA has an immediate need for a Senior Cost Estimator/Earned Value Management AnalystResponsibilities The Cost Estimator will provide cost estimating and EVM analysis support to a DoD program officeExpected duties include 1) Provide Cost Estimating, Earned Value Analysis, and Schedule Support and Analysis, 2) S upport Financial Management Support and Reconciliation, 3) Develop, maintain, and present credible program cost estimates, as well as perform EVM, schedule analysis, and 4) D evelop inputs for acquisition reportingTypical products include EVM reports and updated Integrated Master Schedules, Baseline Review Integration, Program Contractor Compliance Analysis, Program Contractor Performance Analysis, Program Contractor Schedule Risk Assessments, Program Contractor Over Target Baselines, Over Target Schedules, and Major Contract Modification Baseline AssessmentsQualifications Requ ired Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in financial, accounting or management fieldo 3-5 years in cost estimating, with experience in DoD programso Proficient in using Microsoft Excel to analyze and represent data for engineering or project management effortso Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint, to communicate to decision makerso Current DoD security clearance - minimum Secret, TS eligible, and the ability to maintain your clearance throughout employment
Qualifications:
o Experience with modern data analysis and visualization software (Python, R, Tableau, etc.
)o Experience with Defense Acquisition System DoD 5000 series and Navy or DoD program planningo Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes Recommended Skills Accounting Assessments Data Analysis Data Science Earned Value Management Engineering Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
