SPA's Maritime Division provides timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical and acquisition support to the Undersea and Surface Warfare communities, and related agencies and partners.

SPA has a near term need for an Acquisition Cost Estimator II.

Responsibilities:
Your role will be to provide cost related analysis and assessment of products and services and perform parametric tradeoff studies and assesses cost estimates, as well as to develop program life cycle cost estimates and perform concepts and technology trade-off studies for programs and projects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Ops Research or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of ops research, math, probability, statistics, math logic, science, or subject matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level math or statistics.
At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus.
Proficient with current computational tools and spreadsheets to conduct cost assessments, such as the USN's Visibility and Management of Operating Costs (VAMOSC) databases and Operation and Support Cost Analysis Model (OSCAM) suite of cost models for a variety of Operations and Support (O&M) costing tasks.
4
years of acquisition experience in Cost Estimating supporting a program office, PEO, Service/Defense agencies, or supporting programs that report to a Service Acquisition Executive (SAE).
Certified in the Cost Estimating career field by a recognized professional society or educational organization (i.
e.
Career field specific DAWIA level II / practitioner, ICEAA, or PCEA).
Minimum of a DoD SECRET clearance and the ability to maintain it through time of employment.
