Network Engineer (Datalink) - Top Secret Clearance

OverviewAt Vectrus Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of V2X (company), we are making a difference by providing support to programs in the Effects Deployment Office (FXDO) of Precision Strike Weapons Program Office.
We are looking for an Airborne Network/Data Link Engineer for the Hypersonic Air Launched Offensive Anti-Surface Warfare (HALO) Program.
The Airborne Network/Data Link engineer will support the execution of advanced communication data links for the HALO programResponsibilities Planning, execution, data analysis, and reporting for development and testing of HALO tactical communication capabilities.
Applies engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems.
Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, engineering change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Works with Program Management and program teams to integrate new capabilities, define gaps, derive requirements and develop program descriptions, specifications, integration roadmaps, and detailed schedules.
Support the development of acquisition and technical documentation.
Serve as the onsite liaison to support and coordinate technical reviews, data analysis and reports.
Monitor and report team and contract execution.
Analyze manufacturer's proposals as permitted by law and regulation.
Serve as the communication/data link systems engineer for coordination of technical program status.
QualificationsRequired
Qualifications:
6
year experience with tactical airborne networks/datalinks like Link-16 or Tactical Targeting Network Technology (TTNT) Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline US DoD Top Secret Clearance Requires at least 10% of travel Preferred
