CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.
Summary:
Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is looking forProject Management Specialist - Seniorto join our team in the Patuxent River area.
This team supports a Department of Defense (DoD) client.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
oApply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
oAnalyze requirements, status, budget, and schedules.
oPerform management, technical, or business case analyses.
oCollect, complete, organize, and interpret data relating to project acquisition and product programs.
oTrack program/project status, budgets, resources, and schedules.
oProvide support to NAVAIR.
oApply government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
oPrepare acquisition and procurement documentation, including Justification and Approval (J&A) for sole source procurement; Individual Streamlined Acquisition Plan (ISTRAP); Statements of Work (SOW); Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) DD Form 1423-1; and Procurement Initiation Documents (PID).
oPerform program management, financial, and technical analyses.
oCollate and post data to various online tools and databases, e.
g.
, Program Management Tool, Common Spend Plan Tool, Contract Requirements Data List tool, Procurement Request tracking tool, etc.
oCoordinates Integrated Government Schedule inputs between IPTs and schedule technicians.
oCoordinate inputs and perform analysis for Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
oConduct market research to support future procurement activities.
oAssist in the management of team-level Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) Review Boards and document preparation.
oOther duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
oBachelor's degree and 15
years of relevant experience OR oMA/MS degree and 10
years of relevant experience ORoHigh school diploma or GED and completed military service with relevant training with 15
years of experience ORoHigh school diploma or GED and 20
years relevant experience and hold a relevant technical certification with at least a year of experienceoActive Secret clearanceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
oAbility to obtain Top Secret clearanceoAbility to work independently and yet be effective within a team settingoMust be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
oDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
oFriendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
oExcellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
oExperience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
oAbility to provide technical assistance and support over the phone with good phone skills and a professional demeanor.
oPrevious customer service experience strongly desired.
oGood problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
