ADI is currently hiring for an Air Tactical Systems Engineer to support one of our DoD customers.
Essential Job Functions Essential Job Functions:
Test and Evaluation; Verification and Validation; UAV; Systems Engineering The Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist applies subject matter expertise from experience as a military specialist towards the research, development, evaluation, and warfighter environment integration of weapons systems.
Typical areas of expertise include sensor system operation, command and control, communications, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operation, avionics, warfare tactics, and air-vehicle maintenance operation.
Duties include:
Serve as team leader, developing procedures, managing project efforts, and leading problem resolution.
Support the development and refinement of system requirements.
Provide engineering, technical, operational, and analytical expertise for the client laboratories.
Support associated demonstration, experiment, and Test and Evaluation events.
Provide system development support, simulation development and validation support, and system operation support.
Provide test and evaluation of developed systems, as well as flight/ground test event support.
Requirements Experience Requirements:
At least twelve (12) years of relevant experience AND a High School diploma or GED
Demonstrated technical experience utilizing paradigm programming languages to advance the warfighter environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting warfighter system development, simulation development and validation, and flight/ground test support.
Tool Requirements:
The Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist has experience with/will be expected to gainproficiencywith the following tools:
Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB)
Simulation of the Location and Attack of Mobile Enemy Missiles (SLALEM)
Python
Minotaur Family of Systems
Collaborative Operations in Denied Environment
Next Generation Threat Simulation (NGTS)
Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Education:
HS Diploma or GED required
TS clearance required Position is contingent upon final contract award Recommended Skills Communication Engineering Experimentation Matlab Paradigms Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
