Duties You will identify and solve a wide variety of complex problems with many competing objectives, variables and constraints.
You will deliver optimized technical solutions that are balanced to achieve required technical performance within cost, schedule and technology constraints.
You will function as a project lead, program manager, team lead or member of an integrated team/group providing technical guidance to a technical workforce and meeting customer requirements for products.
You will manage segments of a project/program using tools such as risk management, configuration, data, trade-off analysis studies, technical performance measurement, technical Reviews, modeling, simulation or earned value management.

Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.

(a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
