MidJob DescriptionHII has an immediate opportunity for an F-35 M & S Integration Engineer.
This position will provide strategic and operations functions required to deliver both Government Organic and Industry Ground Test Infrastructure, provide management and support plan oversight for assurance of verification capability test assets through proper Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV), and will manage overall ground test facilities and capabilities.
The position is located in Patuxent River, Maryland and a hybrid remote/onsite work schedule will be available.
Essential Job ResponsibilitiesPerform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Minimum Qualifications5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Technical project management experience.
Familiar with aircraft operations, ground testing, chamber testing, and range testing for F-35 and/or fifth generation fighter aircraft.
Clearance:
An active secret security clearance required.
Physical RequirementsOffice, industrial, or shipboard environment.
Lifting and moving materials may be required.
