We are currently seeking a GPS/INS/IFF Navigation Engineer, Journeyman to support our Patuxent River, MD customer.
The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as, posses the following education and
Experience:
Extensive knowledge/experience with Space Based Guidance Systems, Inertial Navigation systems and/or IFF systems Possess understanding of RNP RNAV system/aircraft integrations to meet USN RNP RNAV Functional Requirements Document (FRD) requirements including accuracy, containment integrity, containment continuity, position estimation, flight path legs, leg types, flight plans, displays, controls, alerting, aeronautical navigation data processing, and data chain integrity using the concepts in RTCA DO-236, DO-200, DO-201 and ARINC-424 Possess experience in researching the applicability of current and evolving technology pertinent to avionics development programs Perform system, subsystem and equipment interface and integration trade-off studies as required Conduct feasibility assessments, systems engineering trade studies, and issue analysis and presents findings to program management Possess the necessary skill-set to prepare formal program materials, to include white papers, presentations, acquisition materials, and portions of technical documents such as specifications, and technical requirements.
Navigation architecture and design (Kearfott / Litton) M-code GPS/Anti-Jam Desired Pilot background (but not required) Alternative Navigation Sources (Alt PNT) experience desired Experience with AIMSPO certification TCAS/ACAS-Xu Required Education:
BS degree in an Engineering/Science discipline, Math, or Computer Science is required; ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUION:
Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience; OR Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience:
Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, US Citizenship is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
