Systems Engineer (Senior)

Overview:
Axient is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Patuxent River, Maryland to assist NAVAIR and NAWCAD in the design, implementation, acquisition, and sustainment of complex weapons systems in support of the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps.
Responsibilities:
DescriptionReviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems for military weapons and aircraft.
Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Provides engineering and technical support for system safety analyses during the design, development, production and in-service cycles of all Naval aircraft and their systems.
Support the flight clearance process by providing current safety data, open hazards and issues/concerns to the flight clearance boards.
Support the Government when acting as the Lead Systems Integrator with developing system level hazard analysis, safety plans, and subsystem safety requirements to ensure safe integration of subsystems.
Qualifications:
BS or BA degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, electronics, or aeronautics At least ten (10) years of general or practical System Safety engineering and technical expertiseTop Secret Clearance (preferred) or TS eligibleExperience solving complex system safety problems through the use of probabilistic analysis, modeling, and risk assessment.
Prior aircraft, weapons system, or aircraft support equipment developmental test and evaluation experience is desirablePerforms tasks with little or no guidance.
Has demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the area of System Safety.
Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems.
Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
